about me

A love for storytelling, shaped by travel, art and human connection

A young woman takes a selfie in an oval mirror on a wall, surrounded by framed artwork in a dimly lit room.

I’m originally from Portugal, but my twenties were shaped by movement. I lived in different cities ( including Porto, Dubai, Paris, and now Sydney), and spent several years travelling extensively, at one point working as a cabin crew. It was during this time that my relationship with photography truly deepened. I wasn’t interested in landmarks or perfect postcard... I was drawn to the ambience of places, the charm of everyday moments, the way light fell on a café table, a street corner, a face. Photography became a way of holding onto the feeling of a place, not just the memory of being there.

Travel taught me how much beauty exists in the in-between moments, and that perspective naturally carried into the way I photograph people. Weddings, to me, are very similar: fleeting, emotional, layered with energy and meaning. I’m less interested in perfection, and more interested in what’s real.

Alongside photography, reading has always been a constant in my life. Literature and photography are my two favourite forms of art; both grounded in observation, emotion and storytelling. I’m endlessly inspired by all creative disciplines, but these two have shaped the way I see the world most deeply.

Based in Sydney and available across Australia and internationally.
